Olorunteleola Cartwright (‘Teleola)

‘Teleola has been working on inclusive education projects since graduating top of her class with an LLB in 2013.  ‘Teleola has worked in schools and universities and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. ‘Teleola is now a consultant leading on equality audits and training design and delivery for universities.  ‘Teleola was research lead for the ground-breaking Living Black at University project and is currently working with clients including post-92 and Russell Group universities.  ‘Teleola also works as an Equality Officer at Northamptonshire Rights and Equality Council (NREC) and is a member of the Living Black Commission.

Dr Nick Cartwright

Nick has a PhD in race, identity and pedagogy and researches race inclusion and education.  Nick is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Leeds where he is also the EDI Lead, Director of Student Success, and Academic Lead for Inclusive Pedagogy in the School of Law.  In 2023 Nick won the Stan Marsh Prize for his work on anti-racist legal education.  In 2022 he was recognised as an expert educator, being awarded a prestigious National Teaching Fellowship by Advance HE.  Nick has been a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2015, he is a Visiting Fellow in Race Equality and Education at the Centre for Advancing Racial Equality, a member of the Living Black Commission, and a member of the TASO (Transforming Access and Student Outcomes) Sector Network.
